MA101 - Mouse Armour Leopard AS1 circa 2007.  The main components are full width rear turret basket with fridge and umbrella bag.  Also included in the set is the engine air intake with photoetch mesh as well as all the Australian turret mods.

This kit includes a (MA121 see below) resin full width basket framework with photo etch mesh and a refrigerator.

MA116 - A photoetch set that provides two turret baskets that conform to the inward sloping rear turret face.  This was the first double basket design.

MA117 - A photoetch set that provides two turret baskets that are square and have stand off legs from the inward sloping rear turret face.  This was the second double basket design.

MA119 Leopard Bulldozer attachment

This is made for the Italeri Leopard 1A4 kit.  It is in use by the Danish, Canadian and Australian Armies.  The set can be made to work so that the blade can move on its pistons so it can be modelled lowered or raised.  The set should fit the Tamiya Leopard 1A4 as well.

The image at right shows the blade partially assembled (3 pieces).  There are several small parts which are not in this image. The Leopard below shows the bulldozer assembled but without the armoured mounts for the hydraulic cables (4 pieces).

MA120 -  Leopard AS1 conversion for the Meng Leopard 1A3 / 1A4.  Without any turret baskets this set models a 1977-1987 Leopard AS1.

This resin kit has  fewer parts because Meng have provided several Leopard 1A3 parts - cleat stowage, CWS blanking plate, commander's sight, gunners periscope, engine grating and engine mesh.

This does not come with a turret basket - you can choose which turret basket you want - see

  • MA116  about 1987-1990
  • MA117   about 1989-2004
  • MA121  2004-2007

MA121 - This kit includes a resin full width basket framework with photo etch mesh and a refrigerator as used 2004 -2007 .

The items consists of:

  • Resin basket
  • Three resin hangers
  • modern antennae
  • fridge
  • M113 track pad
  • MA121 PE mesh including three PE hangers (your choice)
  • GPS button
  • wooden boards for under the fridge (not always used)
  • 4kg gas bottle basket plus mesh (not shown)
  •

MA122 - Australian produced L7A3 105mm gun.  The difference is that the original Australian  specifications for the securing of the thermal sleeve would be held in place with hose clamps.  Most other nations use the more complex clips that the German Army uses.

MA123 - Hydraulic dampers.
These replaced the coils spring dampers on all  Australian Leopard AS1s in late 1980s.
